Intensive Outpatient Program or IOP provides group therapy and education three days a week for at least nine hours. Individual and family counseling is also offered. Our therapists help clients learn to cope, relapse prevention, and recovery maintenance skills. New Vista uses a treatment that is proven to be effective. These are called evidence-based practices and address the whole person’s needs.
This level of substance use treatment is more intensive than outpatient therapy. However, IOP still allows clients to continue living at home and working in the community while attending treatment. IOP is for adults and treats both men and women in the group setting. Currently, services are available at the Fayette County MAR Program and virtually. To make a referral or get started, click here.
